I hope everyone's been doing wonderfully. =) I just wanted to come by with a bit of an update on myself. I don't have any new pictures to post of myself right now, but I will be taking some new ones very soon! I took a makeup course in March. I thought it was about time I properly learned the basics, plus I was always able to do my own makeup but when it came to doing other people's makeup I always had a little bit of trouble. I learned quite a lot, and got the chance to practice on some of my lovely friends. After one of the classes, since my beautiful friend Ana had been dolled up, we decided to take pictures of her. These two are my favorite:
Hello beautiful Piczoers!
I was able to get a little bit more practice with makeup artistry after a friend needed me to do makeup for a couple of local commercials she was shooting for Fiat. It was a lovely experience, and it was nice how comfortable the environment was, too. I'm hoping the commercials and pictures will be ready soon!

The course was short because what was meant to be a couple months' worth of classes turned into two 8-9 hours long private lessons at my home. It was a lot of information to take in on both days, and I actually haven't even reviewed what I wrote down or bothered to organize it. I'll get to that very soon... I think. =P
Last week I had a photo shoot as part of the final, but I actually decided to do my makeup myself and model. And that day I learned how much I enjoy being in front of the camera! I'm waiting for the pictures the photographer promised to send. I was nervous at first because I usually don't know how to act and pose for pictures. I always feel so awkward, but the photographer was quite encouraging and supportive so it ended up being tons of fun! Let's hope the results are decent. Haha
The next set of skills I'd like to learn is hairstyling. I don't know when I'll take classes for it, but I figured for the time being I can watch YouTube videos and just practice as often as possible.
Until next time!
I had such a long entry written on here, but I deleted it. I don't know why. I guess maybe I have to prove what I want to talk about to myself before I share it with others. I still have to get myself together. I still have to figure out what I'm even doing. I hope this makes sense to you all one day.
So instead, here's my latest makeup look. Makeup courses start next month. I suspect I'll be inspired and motivated much more once they do. That means I'll have more pictures to post, and this will be updated regularly.
Healthy thoughts give you a healthy body and a healthy life.
Happy belated New Year, darlings! San Francisco was absolutely spectacular, and quite sadly left my heart there. =P

First, I'd like to start with Music Monday. This track is from the remake of The Karate Kid. It's titled "I Want to Go Home" – The Forbidden City and is by James Horner. I chose this piece because I think composers are underrated. I love listening to just pure music a lot because I get a lot out of it. I don't need lyrics to feel something. This track leaves me feeling calm and peaceful, which I find to be fitting today. Sit back, relax, listen and feel peaceful!
Now to get you up to date:
I'm sorry I didn't come back to blogging sooner, but I'm here now and ready to be a regular again! I'm a little late on the resolutions-forming, but I'm doing that right now in the form of a visual/mood board. The main hopes and goals of 2012 consist of a healthy, positive mind and a heart filled with love and compassion. I've adopted the Buddhist mentality, and felt like I needed some Zen in my room. I was able to find all I needed for the section in my room, to set up a corner that seriously relaxed me, pretty much in one day and everything for great prices! I'll take pictures once I'm 100% happy with the placing of everything.
I finally got a mini fridge in my room, as well. This way it'll be easy to drink the necessary amount of water I need in a day (I'm quite the avid water drinker, actually), and also be able to store my homemade beauty products. So far I've made two face masks! One of them smells SO good because I added a couple of drops of lemon oil. I've ordered a ton of things from vitacost.com and will report the results when ready!
I'm going to write out a plan on my diet staples. I read that Miranda Kerr consumes four tablespoons of Coconut Oil everyday, and I'd like to start with 2-3. I hear it does wonders for the hair, too. I'll experiment around with that, as well. My order from Miranda's skin care line, KORA Organics, arrived today, too. I have always dealt with blemishes around my chin. I have good skin, but those few blemishes are always there. I have a lot of faith in Miranda's line, especially since I'm finally using products meant for my skin type! Haha. I'll give my thoughts on the products later on, as well.
I also have something I'd like to take care of. I think it fits the description of skin Keratosis. I have little red bumps on my arms and legs. I'm reading up on products that have helped other people with clearing it up. Whatever works for me, I'll share incase it's useful to anyone else.
I need to get back into makeup. I haven't done anything with it in a long time. I'm finally going to take some courses in March, and will learn a bit of photography as well. I'm pretty excited about that! I'm slightly improving with the working out, but I need to be more consistent with it. I am going to try out the Bar Method this week. I hear it's intense and works fast! I'm ready to be sore! Haha.
Lastly, I am going to put this procrastination to an end. I'd really like to make this jewelry line happen, and I've got some ideas for other types of jewelry to make. The least I can do is some proper research. I'm pretty over my lazy habits!
That's pretty much where I am at with my plans. It's all at the beginning, but I'm looking forward to what's to come!
Thank you for the front page again! Hello, my new beautiful followers! I hope you like my blog. =)
How was everyone's Christmas? Did you celebrate? My Christmas Eve was spent at home with some of the family. It was a quiet night, but very lovely. My parents didn't ease up on the picture taking, as usual, so my brother and I decided to put on our best faces for the camera. Such attractive kids, don't ya think? =P
Christmas Day was spent at my uncle's house, where the first thing to greet us is this neat little village set up around the Christmas tree. The decorations were actually the same as my grandma's when we used to go to her house every Christmas Day. It was given to my uncle after my grandpa passed.
I got to meet his second dog, Smokey, and was reunited with beautiful Bear. I think both dogs aspire to be models...
After the kids opened their gifts everyone started leaving, and we went back home to open our presents with my sister (she was unable to make it Christmas Eve because she worked that night). And the highlights from the gifts were:
Well, these weren't gifts. I got them a while back, but I wanted to share them with you!
And yes, my mom actually got me Jeffrey Campbell shoes for Christmas. We went Christmas shopping a couple weeks ago and I wanted to try the Lita shoes on just to see how they felt, and saw these. I never planned on getting the Lita cause I have to be honest and say that they're probably the most overused shoes I've been seeing around. I just didn't care for them much anymore. I tried on a random pair of Lita shoes, which they are surprisingly light, then tried these guys on. My mom preferred these, which I never saw coming! Of course, I didn't purchase them since I needed to spend on others. What I didn't know is my mom snuck back to the shoe department and purchased them while I was elsewhere. How lovely! My new faves!
Lastly, for Music Monday I chose to share Oh, It Is Love by Hellogoodbye. This song just takes me back to my High School days, and I have yet to get sick of it.

I'm off to start Uncharted 3! I haven't played videos games in AGES!
I'm sorry I've been absent from Piczo. I haven't done much of anything with makeup, so there haven't been pictures to post. My mind's sort of been elsewhere. I thought I'd post the last of the Flashback series, and after that I plan to be much more active on here with a little more material to offer. So before getting into the rest of the pictures, let me fill you in on the plans I will do (not try):
I have finally 100% organized my room and bathroom, and there's something about having everything in place that motivates me to actually accomplish things, rather than continuously procrastinating. Maybe I'm just weird. I have a lot of makeup looks I'd like to try out, so I will be taking pictures of the decent ones. I know I always gravitate towards doing not-so-daily kind of looks, but I'll also post daily and nightly makeup and share my daily look (which is Holly Golightly inspired). I've lost 30 lbs. now, but it's clearly time to get more serious about health and fitness. I want a slim, soft yet toned figure. I've started gathering information I find on benefits of certain health foods and drinks. It's not only knowledge I'm gaining for eating healthier, but also for topical use. I think it's about time I put some effort into creating my own beauty products and my other projects/ideas. I plan to add much more fashion based posts, since it is a huge love of mine. It's really a matter of becoming confident with taking and posting body pictures. I have continued on my positive thoughts journey, which has been very rewarding. I'm very much loving Buddhism, and I identify with this religion/philosophy the most. I had a pretty big misconception about it for the longest time, up until I saw a documentary on it on Netflix. It goes hand in hand with what I've started to believe in. I think I'll start sharing a little more on all that than just quotes every now and then. Music Mondays will be consistent from now on, and probably film recommendations since I'm really into that. As for getting personal, I don't think it'll happen very much if ever. I've always been a private person, so I keep a lot to myself anyway, but also I think I'd like to keep anything I post online anywhere very positive and optimistic. The energy you give out truly affects others, and I'd like to keep things lighthearted and warm. I've spent too much of my life concentrating on the negative and the ugly truth of reality, and it's done me no good. Let's try something else for a change.
With all that being said, let's continue onto the only part that will likely get attention! =P
Top: My favorite 3D nails set while I was living in L.A. Hello Kitty and sparkles, how can you go wrong with that?! =P
Bottom: My last 3D nails set to date. This must change. I think the theme was bows? I can't even remember.
And that's the end of it. That was quite the flasback! Before ending this post, I'd like to welcome my new followers, thank each and everyone of you, and those who liked my blog on Facebook. I love you all! Merry Christmas Eve, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year (if I don't post until 2012), Happy Holidays... Happy... Life!
